Any claims on the quality (especially on the amplification potential) of the shipped DNA materials should be made within 3 months after shipment.
6. Quality control
The DNA materials listed in the catalog are identified by subjecting the cloned DNA preparations to treatment with several restriction enzymes followed by gel electrophoresis. When necessary, partial base sequencing is performed for confirmative purposes.
7. Request for cooperation at the time of publication
Research results obtained from the supplied DNA clones can be informative to other researchers. Therefore, we would appreciate receiving a copy of reprint, when you publish the results in journals. We would also like you to state in your paper the registration number and name of the clone used along with the name of this bank as the source.
8. Information services on the listed DNA clones
All information on the DNA clones distributed by HSRRB is available on the data-base compiled by JCRB Gene Bank and open to the public through Internet (http://genebank.nibio.go.jp/index_e.html). You are able to gain access to this data-base by WWW browser (Netscape Navigator, Microsoft Internet Explorer, etc.). On this data-base are also found the sources, the sites of scission, and other characteristics of the DNA clones in addition to the items given in the catalog.
